Michael still hasn't noticed my presence, neither does the lady. I thought it would be rude to just start talking when I didn't even know who she was so I decided to fake a cough.
That seemed to get their attention as both of them turned to face me. The lady flashed me a smile as she pulled away from Micheal slightly. Her hand was still resting on his shoulder and they seemed pretty comfortable with each other.
"Hi," I greeted the lady with a smile and I turned to look at Micheal. I expected him to introduce us to each other, but he just sat there looking at me with a straight face.
