I was busy working on my laptop when the car suddenly stopped, gaining my attention. "What is the problem?" I asked the driver, and he looked equally confused.
"I don't know ma'am, the car just stopped."
"Did we run out of gas? I thought you tested the car earlier this morning, how come you didn't know that there was something wrong with the car?" I groaned. I needed to get to work early today or I will have to spend half of the night working again.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but I did check the car and everything was fine this morning. Let me check outside to see what the problem is," he said as he left the car and I sighed. It was past eight already and I had a meeting to attend to by nine. I can't afford all this unnecessary stress.
