I woke up with a groan, my body screaming in agony. Every inch of me was covered in bruises, from the forceful shift I had to endure last night. I don't know if it was the steel chain or the fact that I almost stopped my wolf from coming out, but the pain I was feeling was in double folds compared to the past ones.
