Melanie's mother became very sad.

Emmaline's mother was her friend since they were about 3 years old...childhood friends...she comforted her by saying that she is worried about Emmaline's health....Emmaline was ok now...the doctor said to her mother in the phone call.Melanie asked her mother,"where is Emmaline mother...she should have come earlier..she promised me...she never breaks her promise.Why didnt she come mom?".Her mother said ,"oh you never call me mom...good good...call me mom...its good".She was sad but she did not express that...she knew if Melanie knew about Emmaline..she will think that she is responsible...it's her mistake because of which her friend is in the hospital...in a very very bad condition...

bad state.She also knew she will soon know about it...but she managed so that she comes to know about it lately...as late as possible...but how much time will her mother be able to carry this sadness and pain with her.She would want to share it with some one...some one she trusts...Melanie...her daughter...was her only trust...She cried at last...not able to control her tears...water ran down her eyes...her face..She told her everything.Melanie was very shocked and worried.

She thought that she was the cause for this.Her mother knew that this is going to happen.....definitely.Her mother tried to console her."Dont cry dear....dear..dear...listen..Melanie...you do not need to think that you are the cause..today is your birthday...you were born today...on this dad it was the most special day for me and your father.You were the new member in our family.Our small family became big because of you.Your entry made promotion for me and your father.He is in a greater post now.Your a sunshine my dear...a sunshine.....the sun whose rays fell on our earth and make it very bright.

This incident took place a little after you were born.I took you to Eiffel tower?.Me and all my friends met there with you.A few days later".....

Melanie's mother suddenly stopped telling.Melanie's eyes were closed.She was listening carefully to her mother carefully.She was wondering why she stopped speaking.She opened her eyes and saw that her mother had a little tears?running down her face.She was looking at the phone , her phone.She saw that her mother was reading someone's message now.Melanie asked her mother ,"what happened mother.....

what are you reading and why are you crying?".Her mother did not tell anything nor did anything.It seemed like she became a statue because of a witch's magic.She kept her hand on her mother and asked her again and again...the same thing.No matter what , her mother remained still without answering..as if she was cursed.Melanie said ,"all this happened because of me..all because of me...because of me...your life became damaged...I cursed you..I'm the one responsible for your current state.What did I do?.How will I make things right?".

Just then a voice came."Melanie aren't you listening to me..Melanie..dear..dear..

sweetie..".Melanie woke up suddenly as if she was seeing a bad dream.She was taking a heavy breath.Her mother was suprised and stressed a little.She never saw Melanie like this.She thought that Melanie is overstressed about her friend , Emmaline.But she never saw her this stressed!.But , she was happy that she is worrying about something....... someone...a true best friend who will always give support like her mother wanted to give her since she was young.

She wanted to stand like a wall to Melanie but she was not able to....

Melanie's mother had cancer when Melanie was about the age of 4 years.

She did not see her mother for 2 years.

She cried a lot , missed schools , bullied others..a lot..Her mother wanted to see her daughter for long but doctor did not allow because Melanie may get scared seeing her in this condition i.e with this machines ,tools etc...Melanie's mother survived somehow.At that time , the most happiest? person was Melanie.She cheered as if India?? had won the world cup?.Her mother was very happy to see her daughter happy for she never smiled after what happened to her mother.She was not happy that she survived..instead....for her only daughter.The scene was very beautiful.Melanie said ,"mother I had a very bad dream..mother you became a statue...my dream came true...ahhhhh".

Just after Melanie shouted , her mother became angry and scolded her.Melanie in return hugged her.Her mother could not be angry more.She sat closely to her and smiled.Some tears came out of her eyes.She hugged her tightly.She said ,"ok dear.....dont be afraid..tell me..what happened in the dream...what did you see..why were you so scared.Tell me everything".Melanie said everything to her mother.Her mother consoled her and hugged her.Her mother made her sleep.

Melanie was fast asleep.Her mother rang up to Emmaline's mother.She was a little tention free when she heard Emmaline's health was improving..she was getting better.Emmaline's mother was very happy.Melanie woke up.

Melanie was suprised to see her mother happy.She was quite happy also.She smiled.And at the same time ,a little puzzled?.She thought ,'suddenly...

mother is happy.She was sad before sometime.I wonder what made her happy?.Today is no one's birthday? also.Hmm..need to solve this mystery'.

Melanie was very happy that her mother became happy and jumped on her bed a little.She went to her mother to check what is she doing?.She saw that her mother is cleaning the whole house.

Melanie said ,"mother..why are you cleaning the house again!. You just cleaned it an hour ago.Omg..you bought the game I liked.Yayy!!!".Her mother smiled a little.She also laughed a little at Melanie's reaction.After that , she said ,"guests are coming to the house..we need to be tidy and clean.

Good to know..you liked your present..I bought it yesterday but kept in the shelf safely.I wanted to make it a surprise..but seeing you..I felt that you wont like it because it's a very small one and now I realize I was wrong..you made my day..good..good day..come on..let's eat something...I made chocolate chip cookies?.Very chocolaty? and very crispy".Melanie washed her hands with soap.

She used the most fragrance one..the one of Rose?.Melanie's favourite flower was rose.About many years ago , she got some Rose seeds as gift from her mother's friend..aunt Swayna.She took the chocolate cookies in her hand.She went to her dressing table and took the most stylish dress which she is going to wear for the party.It was very fashionable as she groomed her hair.She thought of leaving it free?‍♀️.She put on her hair dye..the golden one which matches with this dress.She put on makeup..eyeshadow , lipstick , foundation , lip balm , sprinkles , tattoos and other things.She looked like a g**g leader..Her mother was being ready.She was taking a long time so she thought of doing something else.She went to her bedroom and took her diary.She never read her diary.She thought of reading it today.She read,'Aunt Swayna was a very gentle.She cared about all the living beings.She believed that all living things make the nature.They are a part of this whole society..whole world.She did not believe in gods because her son died in the age of 5....as heard from the other people.Aunt Swayna dissapeared. They always prayed to god to make him well.Aunty Swayna never said anyone about her son's illness.She was afraid that all will take it in a bad way and she may face many problems in the society.She hid it.My mother and Aunt Swayna were friends from 6th standard.

In school and college , aunt Swayna had no friends.Aunt Swayna had a disease in which her hands turned White.She checked it up with many doctors but no one could find it's medicine.Doctors were giving up.Aunt Swayna soon suffered from Depression.She often hit her head in the wall and became unconscious.She started bullying everyone...especially the ones who bullied and teased her.Everyone was scared of her.Mother was the only person Aunt Swayna did not bully or scold.They were the best friends.

But , my mother never liked her to bully.

Sometimes , she wanted to leave her but she could not.My mother was trapped in both sides.Before Aunt Swayna came to the school , my mother was the most popular..known for her behaviour , knowledge..and the best thing was her beauty.People stared at her when her hair moved.She was known for her studies.To the teachers , she was a teacher.She knew many things that the teachers did not know.Sometimes , if the teacher is not able to answer the question , she is the one who solves it.

She felt pity for aunt Swayna and after that , no one became friends with her.

She was not treated well like before.

Other people thought that she changed but no..she was the same person.

My mother showed aunt to the best doctor in the city.Aunt Swayna was getting well.My mother was very happy.

After that at school , all treated my mother like before but no one knew where was Aunt Swayna.She disappeared after the.... check up.People thought it was good that she left..they never knew a person is also good'said Melanie's diary.After she completed reading her diary , she went to her mother and asked,"mother what are we going to do next?.I'm really bored.Can we go to the park...there are slides,merry go rounds,roller coasters,swings,see saws which have a very spooky sound.We can play Badminton there..um..cricket..and um other sports too.I will give them chocolates,candies and other yummy? gummy food like marshmallows..we will have lots of fun mother...lots of fun...yay.

lalalala".She sang happily..she was indeed very happy but it seemed that she totally forgot about her friends..

especially Emmaline!.She was very happy that she forgot some important people who were the parts of her life...

Her mother was a little angry at her actions because she was too obsessed with her birthday that she forgot two important things.....girls...friends...like the people of the family...like family members...people/friends/members who made her living special...her life , her happiness.Melanie's mother wanted to know why did Emmaline go to the hospital , what happened to her..what did Melanie do , why did the fight happen , who made it..stopped it..tried to block it.

She had many questions about that too..

she was worried about everyone.She treated them like her own daughters.She loved them with her heart.She treated them equally.
