MAYA

Lets come to Maya.After she was found in the restroom , Her parents were called and they took her in the state when she was unconscious to their home.She was not proper at first.Something happened to her.She was screaming and throwing everything down after she woke up.Her parents were scared seeing her like that.The maid was making her calm but she was not in the mood to be calm.Her face was sweaty.Also she had a red line in her neck.She was not bleeding but it seemed that something had happened , something dangerous.Her eyes were a little swollen.Her mother told her to stop but she did not stop.Her mother got very angry but she knew that there is danger.

Her father went near to her and he was going to place his hand on her shoulder but Maya just moved him with a huge force that he fell down on the ground.He was also very angry.They called the ambulance.Two men took her in and belted her.They were punched a few times (Maya did it).She was taken to the doctor.Her parents were with her in the ambulance.They also went to the doctor with her.She was taken in a belted seat.The doctor was not able to control her so he have her a injection with a powerful dose through which she will sleep for 3 to 4 hours so that he can check what's wrong.He saw the red line in her neck.He was surprised.He asked to her parents,"what is this!.Why is there a red line in her neck?".Her father said,"sir we have no idea about this".He told him everything about the incident in school, where they found etc...The doctor said,"oh I see...ok we will see if she has any pain because of that.If no..we need to see.If yes...ok leave it.We will see what happens.I will try my best to cure it.Dont worry".Her parents were quite worried.The doctor was leaving when they stopped him.The doctor asked,"yes.Do you want to tell me something?".Her mother said,"yes-".

Her father stopped her and showed a sign indicating no.The doctor take in breath and took out breath.He was hopeless.He thought he will get some more information about the case ( the patient's case not the police case of a thief or a culprit?).The doctor was a little worried that if the line on her neck will turn out to be something dangerous.He had this feeling when he saw the line also but he did not want to worry her parents too much but he was thinking that,'why did they stop?.What were they going to say?.Is it really something helpful related to this?".He just turned back to go out of the room because his shift had finished and the next doctor will be coming in 10 minutes.The doctor again thought of saying something so he turned towards them.He said in a polite manner,"if you want to say something please don't be shy or scared.Please tell me.A good person is never scared or shy to do something.I know your truthful.He should tell everything".The doctor was an old person.He patted on his back but her parents did not say anything.The doctor was about to leave when they called out to him.He turned again.Her father said,"actually Maya is not our real child.We have adopted her.She belongs to a very rich family.I would like to tell you everything but not now.One minute".The doctor was surprised.He did not expect that the secret they are hesitating to tell will be this much secretful to keep as a secret.He thought it would be something about the case but no , it was not.He took a card out of his pocket.He gave it to the doctor.He said,"this is my card.Here is my number.I request you to call me.I will tell everything about her life history.You could record the call and lock it with a easy password.When you need to know something you could open it and listen to it".The doctor nodded.He waved his hand and said,"good bye".Maya was in the room.Her parents saw her and left.They went down the room and then down stairs.They went home by a bus.

Then they freshen up and ate some food.After that they called their office and explained a little about the matter, asking for a day off.After they got permission they became a little happy but then again their face got dull.Her mother was too much worried.Her father was trying to ignore so that he does not get too much stress and tension but he was not able to manage getting worried.They were waiting for the doctor to call."Hello.Who is this?.Oh Reshma aunty.Ohhh...no..no..I'm not sad..don't worry.. no no.Reshma aunty...nothing happened...oh..tell me..why did you call..

oh".He looked at Maya's mother.He gave a different expression."But aunty...we have office...we are not rich like you..we need to work...we and the beggars have no difference (he was a little sad while telling that line)."b-but aunty-".The phone got cut before he finished the line."What happened?.Why did you say that we are so poor.Plus , why did she call?.Tell something.Why were you talking like that?.Did you become mad?".

She touched her shoulder and shaked little bit but he was not answering.

We often get lost somewhere.I mean in our mind.We think about something else while our friends just try to wake us up but we just don't answer them.We get lost in our thoughts.The teachers say that lost in your own world.They say that you are not listening to the class/what ever is being thought but usually we deepen the thought.

His wife kept shaking his shoulder but he did not listen.Now she was very angry and she went to a room.Maya's father was still not awake.Maya's mother came.There was a violin in her hand.She played that loudly.

Her father woke at last with a little shiver.High relief.Her father said,"oh stop it!.Ahhhhhh....stop it"Her mother stopped playing the violin at once.She smiled a little and then hugged him?.She said,"oof at last you woke up.What did Reshma aunty say?".Her father said,"she invited us to her son's wedding.What do we do?.We can't leave Maya here and enjoy.Also we will not feel to enjoy in this sad event.She was thinking that we are worried.I said we have work so we won't be able to come but she announced to come definitely"."What do we do?!.You know she is a cruel woman.If we won't go she will spread rumours about our family and no one will ever talk to us.We will live in darkness.Maya's secret should not be known to anyone".
