Merissa and Jim sat in her office the next day, discussing the different things Merissa needed to do. There was a lot to do, and Merissa had little time left. She wanted to go over all the business rivals and any threats but she also needed to focus on her work and not to mention as soon as Merissa had landed yesterday and turned on her phone, she had found plenty of messages and missed calls from Aaron. She had told him they would meet at the cafe downtown near her office. She had chosen a different one this time, though, not wanting to go through with the memories of their time in the other cafe.
