Deceit And Lies Continue

After going back to the penthouse, Aaron dialed Jim's phone. After a few rings, the call was picked up. "What do you want, you jerk?" Jim asked after picking up the call. Jim had been waiting for Merissa to call him back, but she hadn't yet. He was anxious and worried about her and decided to go take a shower while he was waiting for her call or message. He had just finished his bath, when he heard the phone ringing and had rushed out to pick up the call thinking it was Merissa calling, but seeing Jerk's name flash off on his phone, he had gotten angry and scared, knowing very well Aaron never called him until he needed something and with Merissa being there if he needed something he could have asked Merissa. Aaron would only call him when he couldn't reach Merissa and that thought put a scared feeling in his head, not knowing what happened to Merissa. She hadn't called him back and here was this asshole calling him. He began to wonder where Merissa was, and it gave him an unsettling feeling. Jim quickly snapped out of his thoughts after hearing Aaron's voice on his phone. " Don't speak to me in that tone you arrogant pig. I am your boss, being Merissa's husband." " Yeah? And Merissa is my best friend, so? Where is Merissa, jerk face?" Jim asked Aaron, wanting to know where Merissa was. "She is in the washroom." Aaron quickly made up an excuse, not wanting to share with Jim what had happened a few minutes ago. He quickly added, "I need to know what Merissa's schedule is for today." Wanting to know where he could find Merissa and convince her to give him another chance. He was sure he could make up some explanation and probably blame it all on Ann having seduced him and putting something in his drink. Yeah, he could do that, he thought. With this plan in mind, he was ready to find Merissa and beg her if he needed to, but he was going to make that b***h listen to him, but for now, he needed to know where she was and their demand from Jim. "Just tell me about her schedule for today and I will get off the call, so you and I don't have to talk anymore" he continued saying, and spat the words at the end. When Jim first heard Aaron say that Merissa was in the washroom, he felt happy to know she was okay, but when he continued hearing Aaron, he knew something was definitely wrong and to catch Aaron he asked "If she is in the washroom, you can just ask her when she comes out. Why are you calling me for that?" He almost added, "You disgusting piece of s**t" but held back from saying it, wanting to find out all the information from Aaron to figure out what happened. While talking to Aaron, he also quickly sent a text to Merissa asking her where she was. Aaron felt like he could explode from anger hearing Jim question him like that. He was so angry at the b***h and her dog, he wished he could just kill Jim and dump his body somewhere. A thought for some time else, definitely after he had dealt with the b***h and made her believe him again, he could just kill Jim without letting her know and send a text from his phone about having gone away for some days, Aaron thought. He had been acting for 2 years and was good at that. The b***h was so gullible and naive that she believed him in everything even after her disgusting best friend Jim had kept meddling with him and feeding her mind with s**t. He was so close to his goal of taking all her wealth and couldn't afford to lose it now. He could just kick her out of his life after killing this piece of i***t, but he needed to know where she was right now so he could fix it. He made an excuse, "Oh, I wanted to take her out for a surprise lunch but need to know what her schedule is, so can you just give it to me? Email it to me." Aaron said and was about to cut the call when Jim replied. "Oh, you mean for your 1st month anniversary? Did you like the surprise that Issa gave you and want to give her a surprise too?" Jim asked sarcastically, knowing fully well that Aaron was bullshitting him. Aaron was shocked to hear Jim talk about their anniversary. "s**t" he cursed; he hadn't even thought about that. With what happened he had no time to ask why Merissa was there and, although he had wondered what she was doing in New York, he was more focused on finding her. "Yeah, exactly that, so can you send me her schedule now?" "Oh, so you mean to tell me she didn't tell you she had cleared her schedule to meet you, asshole, when she came to surprise you." This time Jim not only asked sarcastically but also angrily, it was clear that the bastard was lying, and he wanted to know what had happened and was getting worried about Merissa. Luckily, he received a reply from Merissa telling him that she was fine, and not to worry about her. She also replied that she just needed to clear her mind but would be there after that and would tell him everything then. Having received a reply from Merissa, Jim was relieved but knew something had happened and swore under his breath that if that bastard had hurt Merissa in any way, he was going to beat his face blue and black, no matter what. Jim was very protective of Merissa; she was like a younger sister he never had. They had both met in college and became good friends. Both were doing courses in business, so they had some of the same classes, although their courses were a bit different. Jim had at times come and met Merissa's dad too, who had seen how Jim had acted more like a big brother than a friend and made him promise to protect Merissa if anything happened to him. Jim had not known at that time that Issa's dad would die so soon but had promised him to always keep Merissa safe, which he now took seriously. So, when Aaron replied "Oh, I haven't had the chance to talk to her yet," and before he could cut the call, Jim said, "I know you are lying you bastard, Issa just told me where she is. I hope you didn't do anything to break her heart, because if you did, Aaron, trust me, I would kill you." With that, Jim cut the call before Aaron could say anything more. Aaron stared at the phone after the call was cut, growing angrier by the minute. He knew calling Jim anymore was no use, as he would not give her any information anymore. He decided to call Sarah, Jim's assistant, who sometimes also assisted Merissa. With their office being so big and that bastard being Merissa's best friend, she had hired an additional assistant who helped Jim mostly, but if they were both gone, she assisted with the company. Aaron knew that now if somebody could tell him that, it would be Sarah. The good thing was he knew Sarah had a little crush on him. When he had seen Sarah first, he had wanted to f**k her so hard, but because she worked so closely with Merissa, he had decided to control his urges and not to jeopardize it, until he got what he wanted. Then he could make her his assistant and f**k her in Merissa's office once it was his. He groaned at the thought and looked down to see he had a little problem again and that b***h Ann wasn't there to take care of it this time. He texted Sarah to ask her where she was, not wanting to call her if she was around Jim, and went to take a cold shower and take care of his little problem. He will find a w***e later to f**k after solving this little problem.
