“hello Martin. Sit down!” she barked at him, and he instantly sat down. She didn’t bother to sit down on the empty chairs but stood next to the chair Lisa had sat at a moment ago. “so, this is what you are doing after all this time?” she asked, and he kept quiet.

“Hi Millie.” He greeted her, a little too late.

“don’t you think that is a bit too late?”

“I am a bit slow when it comes to things, how have you been?” he asked.

“I missed you. At graduation, you weren’t there but you promised you will be. In college, you said you will be there for me, but when I got there, you had already graduated and left.”

“I’m sorry, I couldn't tell you, I was…”

“I saw you in my pictures, you were always there, but you didn’t even say hello. you just stood there like a shadow, and you didn’t even want me to see you.” Her teary eyes broke and tears started rolling down her eyes.

“I’m sorry…”

“don’t start!” she shouted at him. Lisa who was done and about to leave stopped dead on her tracks as she saw her intern shouting at her recruit. “don’t start with your apologies, I’m through with them. Tell me why you didn’t even call me for five years but sent a bracelet? What made you think all I wanted was money all that time? What made you think I needed a bracelet not a brother?!”

“what made you think that you can just show up when I was sick and disappear right before I woke? Don’t you know how much I missed you?”

He got up and hugged her and she started hitting him, calling him all rude names she could think off. But being her, she didn’t come up with ruder words than asshole and selfish mutt.

“I’m sorry.” Was all he said to his little sister as he hugged her. She held him tight as she cried with Lisa watching them.

“I’m disappointed in you.” she told him as he calmed down. “you said you were going to be and archaeologist not a tomb raider.”

“I’m not a tomb raider.” He defended himself.

“you stole the blue crown of Egypt.”

“I stole it, yes, I sold it no, contrary to what you heard, I gave the crown to the Egyptian government and told them to let a few people think I stole it, until new of it died, before they reveal it to the world.”

“you stole it.”

“I didn’t. Anyway, I am also disappointed in you too.” He said looking down at his short sister. “You said you weren’t going to work for any company and yet here you are working for MIC.”

“WIC and I needed funds and a team to look for punt.”

“I thought I told you punt is not real. It’s made up.” Millie smiled beautifully he instantly knew why his father said he was going to bully her boyfriends. dhe was too good for any of them. beautiful and precious.“I searched for it after I graduated, and I haven’t found any trace of it.”

“then you should join our expedition, I found something in WIC storage lab from a dig in Yemen.” She said sheepishly he couldn't help but feel the need to.

He turned around to Lisa who was watching them with a firm face. “I’ll go, under two conditions, three million, forefront and your personal details,”

“one mill and I see what we can work out.” She bargained. He stole a look at his sister who seemed to agree.

“I can read ancient languages, I have military training, so I can protect you all, and I am a certified nurse, you get more than you bargained for with me, I ain’t going down below two mil.”

“you are twenty-six years old; how did you get those certificates?”

“I am a genius, I enrolled for more classes than my fellow students and I spent half of my senior years in a military camp. Excluding the scout camp, I spent most of my childhood and holidays at.”

“I’m not gonna vouch for you in anyway.” His sister responded before stepping away from him.

“And I am not working with anyone but her.”
