Down a long and featureless white corridor, the only thing which marked the door which led to the Emperor's genetics laboratory were two white-winged Angelic Air Force guards, along with a leather-clad Archangel with wings so black they appeared to be almost purple. Like most of the Regent's offspring, the Archangel Jeremiel bore a strong resemblance to the General, but unlike either parent; the eldest, and most mysterious, of the couple's offspring, possessed eyes so dark blue they appeared to be the color of a field of violets.
