The first thing Aria felt was power. Not pain. Not fear. Power vast, ancient, and alive coiling beneath her skin like a sleeping storm that had finally opened its eyes. Silver light pulsed through the medical chamber, rattling glass and forcing every wolf inside to drop to one knee. Lucian felt it hit him like a physical blow. His breath punched out of his lungs as his wolf bowed inside him not in submission to a king… but to a Luna. “Aria…” he whispered. The doors burst open.
