Slavery Party

When Yamie opened her eyes, the very first one she spotted was a tall man leaning over a tree. His fangs bared on her like as if, telling she's his target. "A vampire!" she yelled, immediately sitting up. Ready to sprint for her life. "Delo! Don't scare her!" scolded the red haired woman with fair skin who she guessed, one of the voices that woke her up. In fact, all of them were fair skinned. Though this man named Delo was with a pale snow-like skin that illuminated even in this dark place. That made him different. "I don't," sneered the man. And in a blink of an eye, he was soon standing infront of her. That made her heart leaped in surprise. "That! You're now scaring her!" complained again the angry woman who now get up and glared at Delo. Yamie sensed that this woman had a natural hatred towards him.Though decided not to think much anymore about it. There's still too much questions she needed to answer. She touched her hair, shaking it lightly. Thinking why was she here? What is this place? And how?! She should be dead! She should be dead when she jumped off that building. "Hey! Are you alright? What's wrong?!" the panicking voice of the red haired woman was now beside her. Kneeled down as she tapped her back. She squirmed feeling its burning hot palm touching her skin. "Ow. I'm sorry," she said, taking off her hand but Yamie didn't care. It's not that she isn't interested to this woman even if she sensed some unhuman aura on her, but she was more curious on how she ended up in this place. This place where... "We're in Death City. The underground," some man's voice told her. When she glanced up to who owned the voice, she spotted a smiling 18-year old guy,if she guessed it right. She didn't even notice his presence before. His sweet smile somehow felt manacing that looked like as if pulling her to look nothing but him. "An enchantment!" she thought and with all her might, she looked away. Wandering her eyes to the place she was looking a minute ago. "S-she break my enchantment! She did!" she heard him blurted like as if too amused by it. From the corner of her eyes, he was pointing at her with wide eyes. His eyes... Yamie decided that this world is strange seeing the two different color of the boy's eyes. It was a mixture of red and black. Like yin and yang. "Really?! She did?!" even the red haired woman sounded amazed. Why? "I told you! She's different from us!" She now didn't pay attention as they both discuss something out of her interest. Instead, she get up to her feet and wandered her eyes around. "Death City..." she whispered under her breath. Seeing the dark places and messy buildings that looked like a pile of trash from a far, fear crept inside her. Until now, she's still scared of the darkness. Even her fingers trembling tremendously that she even needed to grip it on her dress to hide it. Yet still, it didn't escaped the sharp eyes of the man who had been observing her since. She realised they were beside a river with silver water running fiercely. As fierce as a tiger roaring with its wave sounds. She feel herself and concluded that maybe, this unusual river brought her here. She was wet from hair to her dress! With that, she shuddered. Death City, the underground... As it's name suggested, it really looked liked a dead city only if there weren't a sound of bustling people a kilometer away. She looked up the sky wishing to see the moon in hope to bring light to this dark place. Yet it only made her forehead creased more. She can't see anything on it but darkness! Too much darkness! "By the way, I'm Marys,WereWolf Pack 18. You are?" said the red haired woman that saved her from being too overwhelmed by this place. Yet, what this woman said only brought more horror to her. Her whole body trembled as she took a step back. "A wolf?" her voice didn't deny her fear that made the vampire man chuckled. "It's you who scared her now, Rys!" Delo teased that made Marys' face flushed in anger. "Shut up!" she yelled but when she turn her face to the woman with wide frightened eyes, it softened. "I-I didn't mean to scare you..." Yamie knew she was genuine in apologising though it didn't lessen her fear. Though she knew that this place was strange, it was still frightening to know that what she was with were some kinds of urban legends entities. Marys' a werewolf. Delo's a vampire. And the boy... Her eyes moved to him who seemed wishing for her to look at him. He was smiling still alluringly as it waved his hand to her. "Don't worry. I'm not as horrible as them," he proudly said pointing at the two who glared at him. She somehow felt a hope that he was the same like her. The boy walked near her casually though she still felt wary, her trembling knees made her decide to just stay put in case she fall is she move. He reached his hand to hers, holding it like some too valuable treasure. Lifting it up and with eyes staring deep hers, he kissed the back of her hand. In a soft voice he spoke, "Gabriel of Phoenix Clan 5 gladly meets you, my lady." Instead of falling on her knees, Yamie felt her body statued. She can't move at all. Her eyes looked at every of these three different entities. A vampire. A werewolf. A phoenix. She closed her eyes and calmed her self to think clearly. Okey. She didn't die. Instead, she was brought on this strange place called Death City. A city where characters of urban legends lived together. A city without a light. But how and why did she end up here?! When she opened her eyes, all of them were deeply staring at her. Waiting to say something. Her eyes darted to Delo who stared back. His gray eyes felt void of emotion. " Why was I here?" she asked not bothering to look away. Like as if she questioned only him, Delo smirked. Revealing his sharp fangs. "We should be the one asking you that question. Why are you here?" His words were too firm and sarcastic that made Yamie look away. How was she supposed to answer that? That she died but instead of going to either hevean or hell, she ended up on this place? " Stop that, Delo! Maybe she wasn't still ready to talk about her tragedy!" Marys luckily snapped in,saving her from Delo's obvious interrogation. She looked at Marys when she felt her hot hand pinching her palm. Somehow, her hotness which is natural for a werewolf like her lessen the fear she's feeling. Maybe they won't hurt her. They don't looked like one though she still didn't trust them. For once, she had been deceived and she won't let the history repeat itself. Delo was the only one where she felt the aura of danger was, so she decided to be careful towards him. "Don't worry, we'll try our best to protect you this time," Marys was careful and soft when she spoke to her. Cautious not to scare her again. Somehow she felt guilty about it. "Yes! We will protect you so we'll be your friend here in Underground,"agreed Gabriel who stood at her left side. She glanced at Delo who's kicking a stone to the river, obviously uninterested with the idea of his two companion. What does she expect? " But lady, we still don't know your name and what sect you were before coming here," complained Gabriel who pouted like a sulking child. That made her smile a bit finding it a cute. " My name is Yammira Cuevas. A..." with the next word she'll say, she noticed everyone was anticipating what it was. Even Delo was looking at her intently "... I'm a human. " "Human? What human?" Gabriel was the first one to react. All of their faces showed confused and had no idea what she said. So she was right! Humans don't really exist here. Sighing, Yamie waved her hand to them. "I mean... I don't remember what I was,"she explained that made them nod their heads. Like relieved of something. Though she noticed Delo was still suspicious of her answer. " Right! You must be too hurt when you fell in this River of Pain. No one does survive in here, "said Marys that caught her attention. " What do you mean? " Before speaking, Marys halted as a loud sound of thunder roar, making Yamie remembered her fears. " The party now starts. We need to go, "said Gabriel in a sudden serious voice that she doubted whether he owned it or not. It was too strange to see him so serious like this. Even the two others felt tensed with the thunder. What was happening? " Just follow us and never go too far. " Delo seemed to answer what she was thinking so as they walked away, she followed behind. However, every step she took was like a ten steps already for them. "She's injured. I'll carry her," Marys suggested but Gabriel immediately interrupted that irritated the former. "No! I will!" "But it will be more fun as we fly than riding your smelly fur!" Gabriel teased that made Marys wanted to chase and kill him on the spot. Though Delo mediated both of them. "It will be too inconvenient for the two of you to transform. I will caryy her." "But-" Their protest became useless when like a lightning, Delo grabbed her waist and walked away. Though Yamie wondered if the were still walking or running. Even the places they passed on were unseen by her. It seemed all like a blurry picture! Feeling a bit dizzy, she closed her eyes but immediately flung it open when she suddenly fell on a damp ground. Some hard stone hit her behind. "Why did you dropped me?!" she yelled to the man who just gave her a shrugged and walked away. Entering a concrete house though some bricks were broken and already covered in black jelly moss. The door banged close. "Disrespectful man!" she irritatedly hissed and proped her self up though Marys and Gabriel arrived before she does. Both of them were with confused face. Immediately, Gabriel helped her stand up. "Yammira. What are you doing on the ground?" asked Marys as she also gave a hand to clean her clothes though her white dress were already covered with dirt. Either she got it when Delo dropped her on the ground or when she lay on the riverbank. "Nothing. Just some brazen man was too lazy to treat a lady rightly," she replied, purposely increasing her voice volume in hope to be heard by whom she intended it to. She sneered. Glaring at the door Delo entered. The two others seemed not to understand what she said. " We need to hurry, Yammira. We can't be late. " She sensed anxiousness in Marys voice as she grabbed her arm. Pulling her to the next house from Delo's. Even Gabriel nodded to show he agreed with what she said. Thus, she sighed and let her feet follow the werewolf's track unwillingly. " You're...beautiful," breathed Marys as her golden eyes scanned her."Bet everyone would either envy or covet you." Yamie looked away finding it uncomfortable to be praised like this. Her sight went to the woman reflected on the bronze mirror and finds it indeed...yes. Beautiful. She wondered why she never appreciated her beauty before she ends up in this place. Remembering what she looked like in the past but her heart raced when seeing a blurry face of her! She tried to remember her friends... Sheena. Her mom. Her brother. She can't remember their faces! "What's wrong?" "Huh?" her eyes flung open with the worry in Marys voice. Does Marys really showed genuine actions to her? Or there was some hidden motives behind? She just can't trust anyone right now. "Nothing. I'm just a bit... dizzy,"she lied. Forcing a smile. Why can't she remember faces from her real world? Does this world have something to do with it? Marys' bare shoulder exposed because of her black tube dress dropped as she let herself fall on the messy bedbunk. There was no space to put a sofa in there. Somehow, Yamie wondered why there are too many unnecessary things on the room. Box that looked unimportant. What are those? "I'm sorry you needed to attend this party even you are still hurt. It's just that,"she paused. Looking over the window where part of the city could be seen. People were noisily crowded on the streets.", it's a must. If not, you'll be punished severely. " There was sadness on her voice. Apart from being angry, Yamie didn't expect her to be this sentimental. Though she wondered why. "But where are we going to?" A moment passed before she answered. Lips on a thin line. " Slavery Party." Before she could asked, Marys stood walking right in front of her. Once again, she checked her white dress flowing until her ankles and put a mask cloth covering her face from nose to an inch after the chin. She leaned closer over to her ear and whispered, "Remember. Stay away from the Elite Vampires. Or else you'll be in danger. Hide in the dark." When Marys smiled at her, she chose to shut her mouth instead of asking all that bothered her. She knew Marys was hesitant to say something. Not that she don't want to but because she wasn't allowed . " Okey. I will, "she promised that made her sighed in relief. "Let's go then." When they walked out at Marys' house, the impatient faces of the two men welcomed them. Though when they saw Yamie, even Delo can't hide the admiration in his eyes. But she was wearing mask isn't she? "Their eyes can penetrate my weaving, Yammira. Others can't," explained Marys who noticed her expression. Grinning as she moved her eyes to her and the two men. With that, Delo looked away. Like as if embarrassed. "Yara! You're so beautiful like a goddess! I really like you!" said the cheery Gabriel as he ran to her and hook their arms together. She even got no chance to take it back now that he tightly held into it. So she just sighed. Even if she don't allow men to touch her, Gabriel seemed to innocent to think of something evil like that. What more, he's just a child! "Yara?" she asked. Remembering what he called her. "Yes? Yara. Yammira was too long," he complained again with a duck-lipped face. She then grinned thinking Yara was a beautiful name too. "Okey then. You can call me like that." Even Marys seemed to agree with it. "Let's go then!" she declared as they all walked in a group. Delo was behind them who before she and Gabriel lead the way, heard him whisper something. "Too troublesome..." He was talking about her. Now she really wondered. Why does he hate her too much? The party's venue was much different from what she expected. Unlike the town outside this big palace at the heart of this place, this was much more cleaner and organised. No trashy things around. The furnitures and other things inside looked expensive and elegant. Like the same usual party on the world she came from. But if you were to name one thing of its similarities on the city outside, it will be the darkness. Many lanterns and candles were hung and placed at every corner illuminate the place. She then conclude that electricity don't exist here. "Held on me tight." She almost jumped in surprise when Gabriel whispered in her ear too close. Yet, reminding herself who was he, she calmed down. It was right to follow Gabriel's words when they arrived at the core of the part. People kept idling around, walking here and there. Sometimes, she even collided with other people who were either to drunk or didn't care who they bumped into. One thing she noticed which was strange was when they arrived, all of the people they passed by stare at them. Especially her. Yet when their eyes looked closely at her mask, they all have the same reaction. Disappointment, then gone back to their own businesses again. Why was that? Gabriel lead her to a table where it was away from the wild crowds. "Rys and Delo already went to their business. We'll be back soon. Stay here," he hurriedly told her and turned his back for once. Yet, scared to be alone on this dark place, she pulled his arm. "Where are you going?" Gabriel seemed a bit overwhelmed with her holding his arm so she immediately let it go. He smiled at her. "Don't worry. We'll be fine. Just never leave here no matter what. Protect yourself... Yara." As he left, he leave her a piece of folded fabric placed on the table. She first stare at her to examine but when nothing seems off, she then decided to take it. "What's this?"she wondered when felt a hard object inside the fabric. Opening it, her heart erratically raced as well as her eyes widened. It was a dagger! Why did he gave her something like this?! Must it be... On the wide double doors of the Underground Palace of Death City, two men dressed in black cloak entered. "Woah! I never thought it was so fun in here,"exclaimed the younger one. Trying to catch up with the pace of his friend as well as wandering his eyes around." You're too selfish, Ryun! You never bring me here before. " He almost stumbled on the ground when he bumped into his friend's back. And as he looked up, a pair of green eyes glare at him. His voice was as cold as snow. "You don't know what you are saying, Caleb. Underground isn't a place to have fun." That made the younger vampire clammed his lip shut, pretending to zip it though still grinned at the end. Giving up with his friend's naughtiness, Ryun continued to hudled his way through the sea of wild attendees of this party. The music was either to upbeat or too loud to made him want to clasped his ears shut. A cold familiar hand tapped his back. "Who are you searching for?" asked Caleb who noticed him running here and there. Like a dog sniffing for some bone. Like the usual, he bit his lip before he spoke. "Masked Mistress." "That mysterious woman?! The very beautiful one?!" exclaimed Caleb with an exaggerated surprised face. Ryun did not answer. He instead continued searching though it was too impossible to find someone who's as hideous as that woman. Still, he knew that the masked mistress would surely attend this party. Atleast that's what they say. Halting beside the big pillar, he closed his eyes. Using his advanced sight, it travelled to the west wing of the party searching for a woman wearing a masked. Though when it travelled to the center part, it was stopped due to the presence of many vampires, wolves, phoenix and the slaves living in this underground. He knew it would be hard but still, he needed to try atleast . "Let me ," suggested Caleb who's waiting for him to wake up. He then nodded knowing that Caleb was the best on this kind of skill the vampires had. Even with many distractions, his sight can still clearly travel within a radius of ten kilometres wide. Ryun swallowed, feeling his dry throat. He never knew using this skill in this crowdy place would be too draining. Even Caleb's brows met as the veins on his forehead showed. Waiting for him to open his eyes, he wandered his eyes around to the big party still ongoing. Atleast half a million people were here with half of it a population of the underground. Ryun sighed thinking of the mysterious Masked Mistress but as he thought about her, he spotted something that made his lips curled up. At the same time, he heard Caleb's voice behind him mixed with the noise of the party. "Found her." He nodded not letting his eyes away from the woman sitting alone on the table not really much away from them. How stupid he is that he even tire himself looking for the woman who were already right beside him. The woman masked in a white cloth showing only her eyes wearing a white glittering dress stood up from her seat. Walking and looking around her like a lost child. Ryun followed her tracks who now mixed up with the crowd. "Yes,Caleb. We found her. Finally." The rage inside him was like a fire can never be subdued but only be fueled. Time to hunt!
