78 “FUUUUUUUCK!” SAM YELLED, SQUIRMING IN his seat, trying to think what he should do. Outrun a helicopter? No. Get close enough to transfer to one of the pilots. Hell, no. The road dropped off steeply almost immediately on the left side of the car down into the valley and rose almost immediately just as steeply on the right side.
