88 SAM COULD SEE A COUPLE of soldiers looking around, having caught the scent. He didn’t have much longer before people were going to start looking for the source. He needed an ignition device. Everyone in China seemed to be a smoker but as luck would have it, Sam’s host was not. He saw a welding torch one bay over; it could work but wasn’t ideal. Scanning the area, sure enough, he saw a pack of cigarettes with a Zippo lighter resting on a cabinet near the welding torch.
