Confusion Is Contagious

349 Words
I open my laptop, slower than ever. The screen flashes on before I fully open it. It stings my eyes, this is quite usual though. Once I fully open it, the screen reads "Welcome User." I chuckle under my breath, knowing I can change my username but I don't feel like it. I click my mouse, unfolding a password screen. I type in my password. My mother thinks my password is "Totallystraight1347." But it is the complete opposite. I type in my real password, chuckling about my mother. The screen is revealed, the backround is flowers. Many icons flood the screen, many of which are hidden in files. My mouse cursor flys across the screen as I navigate it to the "My Files" document. I double click it and open a new document. I place my fingers in the modern typing position, and I type whatever had been on my mind at the time. I finish typing and save the document to the "Thoughts" file. I stand up out of my chair, close my computer and walk out of the room. "Mom! What are we having for dinner?" I hear a deep breath as I walk out of my room. "It's either leftovers or you make dinner for yourself." My mother replies, and I would rather not have what I ate last night. I walk towards the fridge, and I reach for the handle to open it. Scratch Scratch, I hear a noise on the dinning room window. I slowly turn back to look at it, I catch a glimpse of something. It seems dark blue. How could that be?! I fully turn around, and it's gone. "Wha-...?!" I gasp in suprise, not knowing what to do once more. I want to sleep it off. But I am not tired, I want to drink it off. Damn It! I think in my head, knowing I'm not of legal age yet. I decide not to eat for tonight, and shake my head around a few times. The memories mess with my thoughts over and over again. What do I do?!
