Chapter Seven
STERLING
Oh! Wow!
I walk through the garden. There are so many flowers, and just looking at everything that’s going on around us… Wow. I slide my hand into Wilder’s as we do one last round of inspections before we’re hopefully done with the garden. There are some chairs and a little place where we will say our vows. Everything is wrapped in flowers and silky fabric and all sorts of pretty things.
Wilder pulls me closer, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. “It looks magical.” His voice is full of awe.
“Yes.” I look around and then find Maddy wrapping some of the silky ribbons around one of the corners of the chicken coop. I can’t help but laugh. Maddy has been helping us all morning with setting up and Sarah and Lilly are inside, getting the food and other things set up
