“You have to eat something, Daze,” Shepard's voice carried clearly across the courtyard, his annoyance obvious.
“I'll eat when I'm done,” Daisy's growl was just as annoyed.
“We both know you'll get busy and forget to eat,” Shepard retorted, “and then you'll be an even moodier b***h than you are right now.”
“Oh, I'm a moody b***h?” Daisy snarled. “You skipped breakfast, too. Why don't you go get some lunch and stop irritating me? If you think you can manage.”
I sighed and waved an Omega away who was looking slightly fearful in the direction of the raised voices. I was sure the Council would object to making Shepard her official Beta, but it was clear that's exactly what he was. The two of them bickered like an old married couple.
