Shepard I'd never felt more free than I did running in my lycan form. The trees around me seemed to blur as I pushed myself harder, faster, testing this new form. The feeling of the leaf litter beneath my paws, the chill of the late summer air bringing the promise of autumn filling my lungs, and the moon illuminating the world around me was addictive. I stopped, panting slightly for breath, and listened to the distant voices of the pack as they sang to the beauty of the moon high overhead. Lifting my head high, I added my voice to the chorus of wolf howls, my own deep tone sounding reverent in the still evening air.
