Serissa It was late enough in the evening that the streets were mostly deserted. The bars and restaurants were still doing solid business, but I was seeing the people around me through new eyes. Yesterday, I wouldn't have looked at any of the people gathered around the tables, drinking and having a fun night out, as anything but what it looked like on the surface.
