I slipped my heels off and groaned as my legs stretched out. I should’ve brought flats to wear, but I hadn’t realized I’d be on my feet all day. There was a muffled sound behind me and I turned to see Donovan watching me intently. His body quivered as he held himself perfectly still, but there was something about the way he was looking at me.
