After the night I had with shitty men, how the hell can I feel attraction towards Ash? The man rushed in to my rescue like a K-drama main character, my knight in shining armor. Transference that had to be it, he saved me, I feel attraction. Right? His dark hair falls into his eyes as he pulls away from the building, the car smells like his cologne, clean and crisp. He doesn’t say anything on the drive. “I’m sorry about all this.” I said, glancing his way for the barest second. “Don’t ever be sorry for calling us, kitten.” He said, eyes never leaving the road. My heart kicks up when he calls me kitten. Why is that so damn hot? I don’t know what I thought Fox’s house would look like but it was beautiful, red brick three stories with a chimney, it looked expensive as all get out. “Is this a university house?” I asked as I peered up through the windshield as he pulled into the driveway. “No, we own it. Me, Fox and the twins, John and Connor.” I scoff, looking at him incredulously, he just looked at me with an eyebrow raised. “Wait your serious, John Connor like terminator, savior of mankind, Skynet?” I was hoping that he was kidding, and I wasn’t looking like too much of a nerd. “Nerd mom, lawyer dad.” He grinned at me, knowing full well he almost had me. “That’s really freaking cool.” I said with feeling. I loved terminator, Fox had gotten me a poster one year when he visited that says ‘I believe in John Connor.’ Ash got out of the car, walking around to open the door for me. Lights were on in a few of the windows of the house, he walked me around the side of the house to what turned out to be the kitchen door. “Have a seat at the table, I will go get Connor.” He said, walking through a doorway into what looked like the dining room. I couldn’t sit, so I wandered around the kitchen, stopping in front of the fridge. It was littered with pictures of the guys together, with their families, a picture of me and Fox at the beach last summer. One of the only times we had gone out as a family. Mom must have snapped it when I wasn’t looking, Fox was grinning at me, I was walking towards the water, throwing Fox the middle finger over my shoulder. He was giving me a tough time about the bikini mom had gotten me. Joking that the color was going to attract sharks, we were at a freshwater beach the asshole. Next to it was one of my senior pictures, my name and number beneath it with I love your spark in parentheses. Why would he do that? Footsteps sounded behind me, Ash walked in followed by a sweaty guy in grey sweatpants that hung low on his hips. He wasn’t wearing anything else; his brown hair was clean cut if a little messy. “Right, now, let’s have a look.” He had an English accent that went straight to my core, what the hell is wrong with me right now? He gestured me forward hand out for mine. I stepped forward and placed my hand in his, he gently gripped my wrist, pushing up my jacket sleeve, turning my wrist over. “Right, extend your fingers. Now make a fist.” I winced with every movement, his eyes flicked to mine then back to my hand. “Can you take off the ring? Don’t want to cut off circulation when it swells.” I pulled my hand from his, tried to pull off my ring, failed and panicked. “It won’t come off; this was my grandmother’s I can’t cut it off.” “Easy, pet, give it here.” I put my hand out and then he did something I never saw coming. He put my middle finger in his mouth, like entirely into his mouth, and swirled his tongue around it. My mouth parted with a quiet gasp; I tried pulling away, but his grip was firm but gentle enough not to hurt me. His teeth caught on the ring pulling it off as he pulled my finger free from his lips. Taking my uninjured hand in his he slid the ring onto my finger and winked at me. He turned to Ash, “Ice it, wrap it. Not too tight, doesn’t look like a break but we will keep an eye on it. Now if you will excuse me.” He turned on his heel in hurried back through the house. “What the f**k was that?” I asked looking to Ash for an explanation. “That was Connor. Let’s get you comfortable, I can wrap that hand after you get a shower and eat. I will get you some clothes to wear. You can sleep with me tonight.” I stare at him in shock. “I think I will be fine on the couch.” I said, pleading with him to say yes. His brows pulled together. “Women don’t sleep on the couch in this house, it’s best there isn’t any confusion about your…availability. I promise to be a gentleman and stay on my side.” He smirked at me, as if he didn’t really want to be a gentleman. I nodded my head and followed him through the dining room door, the house was beautiful and very tidy for having four men living in it, the living room was masculine but comfortable. He led me through the foyer checking the lock on the front door before starting up the stairs. “John’s room on the left,” wet sounds of bodies meeting skin on skin floated down the hall. “Connor’s on the right.” He said as we passed Connor’s incredibly open door. I knew I shouldn’t be looking but the sight was riveting, he had her from behind, pulled up against his chest holding her by her throat. Her breathy moans getting louder as he f****d her harder. My cheeks heated as his gaze met mine, holding me hostage with a knowing look and a grin. Like he knew that I had imagined myself in this position while touching myself. “Oh! Connor.” He tore his gaze from mine, the spell broken as he pushed her shoulder flush with the mattress. “Shut up, you don’t say my name.” Ash reached in front of me, closing the door, I stared at my feet having been caught. “Connor is an exhibitionist. He wanted you to watch. My room is upstairs.” He said directing me up the next set of stairs with a hand at the small of my back. I could feel his gaze on my back, warm and reassuring, nothing like the slimy feeling I got when Caleb looked at me. “His girlfriend is ok with that?” Ash chuckles. “Connor doesn’t have girlfriends, he has…” He trailed off as we reached the top of the stairs. “I’m on the left; towels are in the closet in the bathroom. I will lay some clothes out for you on the bed. There should be some makeup remover under the sink, with anything else you need for your shower.” Ash said as he opened his bedroom door. My heart leapt, apparently tonight was going to be full of firsts, first date, first frat party, first assault, first shower and sleepover in a guy's house. This wasn’t how I wanted this day to go that is for sure. “I really don’t want to put you out, if Fox won’t be back until tomorrow then I can just sleep in his room.” Ash smirked at me. “We have rules here, kitten, women don’t sleep unattended, and we don’t sleep in each other’s beds. Shower, please.” Meaning I won’t be sleeping alone, and he wasn’t sleeping anywhere but his own bed. Well then. Shower it is.
