What Happens Now?

I woke up a couple of hours later with a nasty headache that refused to go.
Groaning, I sat up on the bed holding my head, silently begging whatever superior power that might be to make it stop.
It was an effort to open my eyes and when I did, I spotted two tablets of aspirin and a bottle of water.
Letting loose a sigh of relief, I immediately popped them into my mouth followed by a mouthful of water.
Feeling slightly better, I slipped my feet into the flops waiting by my bed and wandered downstairs.
The clink clink of dishes caught my attention as I changed direction to the kitchen.
To my surprise, Nova was standing at the sink, scrubbing something quite furiously.
“Shouldn't you be at work?” I asked without thinking.
