“Show me again!” Bonny squeals, eagerly reaching for my hand so she can drool over the ring once more.
Unable to stop grinning, I shoved my hand forward, allowing her to see the five-carat diamond ring.
Funny enough, while we were busy with the wedding preparations, I never thought about a ring until Asher came home one day and presented it to me over dinner.
Of course, there was no pomp, considering we both knew what was happening, but still, it was a surprise, maybe because the ring depicted who I was to the core.
