The Wedding…
Nova
My eyelids fluttered open to the gentle twitter of birds and the soft rays of sunlight picking through the curtains to cast a warm glow on my face.
I stretch slowly feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.
I can't believe today has finally arrived.
The day.
My wedding day.
Sure, it was going to be small, beautiful, and intimate…. confined to only family members and a couple of close friends, but it did nothing to lessen the severity of the moment.
In a couple of hours, I would go from being called Nova Dwight to Nova Stanley and I had to be honest… it's a big change that'll take some getting used to.
