It was so nice being in the arms of a man that, for a moment, I forgot that I was married, lingering in the man's arms until I bolted out of his arms.
It took a couple of seconds for the shock of falling flat on my face to fade away and once it did, I looked up only to be shocked once more.
The man whose arms I wanted to lounge in was none other than Ron Rowland, my self-proclaimed enemy.
I staggered back, still in shock.
The look on my face was reflected on Ron's, if only on a larger scale as his eyes roved over my features.
He opened his mouth about to say something but the patter of feet stopped him from doing so.
