Time for a little Payback…

The live feed from the warehouse was worse than it seemed on camera.
I got to find out when I visited the warehouse later that day and to my shock, I discovered that all the products had burnt down in the fire.
Luckily for us, the fire trucks arrived in time and got everybody out, making sure that no lives were harmed.
Due to the intensity of the fire, we had to park a couple of miles away, waiting for it to cool off before we could inspect the damages.
Local authorities also formed a perimeter around the place to ward people off.
Two hours later, an officer walked up to me.
“Miss Dwight, I imagine?” He called out, pulling me away from the conversation I was having with Emma.
