“We can’t keep her. You know that.”
“I know but look at her! She is too young to let go of. She needs us. She needs her parents.”
“You know what will happen if she stays here. Do you wish for that to happen to her? She will have a better life not knowing us and living.”
“Can’t we keep her for just a little while?”
“No. You know we can’t. Now say what you want to her and let them take her.”
“NO! I can’t. What if she lives a horrible life?”
“It’s that or death. You pick. I’m done arguing with you.”
“Ma'am we will take care of her. You have given us everything needed to place her into a great home. Please put your trust in us. We will keep her safe.”
“I put my trust in you then.”
“Thank you, ma’am.”
“WAIT!!. Please give her this when she comes looking for us and tell her how much we love her and that we are so sorry.”
“Yes ma’am, I will make sure it happens. We must go now. I wish you luck”
