I can’t say what has happened is normal, because it has been far from normal.
I woke up late for school the day after Inara broke my parent’s vase. I knew how important that vase was and that it was worth a ton of money. I may be only twelve but I know how money works. I figured that Inara just left early and told our parents to wake us up but now that I think about it they never woke us up. It was always Inara so I’m not sure how that even worked its way into my brain. I got up and went to wake Kelly up so we both could get ready for school. Our mom gave us a ride but was very pissed off and crazy short when one of us would talk so we just kept quiet the whole ride.
