We got to my house a little faster than was necessary, and I couldn’t help but keep my eyes glued to Brett the whole time. The way he shifted the gears, and the way his muscles worked as he drove his Jeep lit my insides on fire. My heart beat a million times a minute the moment I stepped out of his vehicle and headed for the front door. Brett followed close to my side and put his hand on the small of my back.
