  Ivy   The bed is cold when I wake, the space beside me empty. For a moment, I wonder if last night was a dream. Elias's voice, his touch, the way he looked at me like I was a fire he wanted to burn in. I touch my lips, trying to recall the way his kiss felt, but the static that lingered long into the night is gone. Everything feels normal.   But the faint indentation on the pillow tells me it was real.   Reaching for my phone, I check the time and spit curse words under my breath. I am late. I was meant to be at the library an hour ago.
