Chapter 1 : The New Guy

"I knew it, I knew you like X"

That annoying voice just came out of nowhere I was in the middle of tallying when my when my best friend interrupted me, yes you heard that right I'm counting our income from our little flower shop near the downtown, it was actually my father's but I used to handle it ever since our parents abandoned me. We were happy at that time when things got very complicated, my dad was a very faithful father to us and also a loyal husband to his wife but that was until my mom cheated on us and they got separated for good maybe.. At first we were just fine without her but as time goes by things became more screwed up, my dad got ill so we are constrained to sell our properties for his medication, but still he didn't make it, he had promised to us that he will take care of us until we're fully matured but we are just that unfortunate in life.

So at an early age me and my younger brother had to work day and night for us to buy some food, we also came up to a thought of selling the flower shop for us to make money from it but my little brother refused, then weeks after my brother got very sick we haven't eat for three days at that time and we are both starving to death, we had no money for me to buy my brother's medicine, all I can just give him at that time are my tears, he died on my lap at that day while I have nothing to do about it. It was hard for me not just only for the fact that I have to cope with life alone but also to the fact that I was too young for all of this...

"Hey are you listening to me?" Nina interrupted the drama.

I'm sorry, my mind just flied out of nowhere

"Yahh, its understandable that you have a situation going on with your life, but that doesn't mean that you're going to spend your life like that, just look on the bright side you have us" she said.

Yahh I know that but just give me a little time to adjust, I'll get over it someday

"Of course, as you wish but is it true? You have a crush at X?"she asked with a naughty smile.

What?! no, we can't deny that he is a blue eyed cutie but we can't hide the fact that he's a gangster, he always caught on fight and I don't want to be involved to his problem, and can you just look to the other side, I'm not ready for any kind of freaking relationship right now I'm only 11 years old and I haven't gone to puberty yet.

"Okay okay! easy, you're blabbing to much about it, I already get your point"

Yes you heard it actually right X is the most dangerous child gang leader in the hood, he's actually the most notorious gangster in the whole city I guess, but on the bright side he's actually a good looking boy, he had green "innocent" eyes, a perfectly shaped face that perfectly fits his masculine body, with his "X" scar carved over his face. Nina was so crazy for him and I don't know why the hell that girl will fall in love in such a guy. I mean he's clearly dangerous.

I was in front of my small hut when I noticed that there's someone inside my house, I was in shock to find out that there was a young boy lying down at my bed, at first I thought it was already dead I was about to panic when he suddenly move, I was hesitating on touching him but because of my curiosity and the fact that he was on my territory I manage to touch him. He was at his peaceful sleep when I noticed something, his temperature is high and he's trembling, I suddenly think about what happened to my brother so I started panicking, I go to the pharmacy and bought him medicine and after a while his temperature turns to normal.

He's already fully recovered so I decided to talk to him, its been a while since he was with me so I think there's nothing wrong if I talk to him..

Hey, are you now feeling well? I asked, he only nods confirming that he's now fine.

Its fine, I'll give you time to adjust but for the mean time I'm the one who is going to take care of you until someone looks for you okay?
