Old House

1140 Words
As we make it towards the house I looks over the structure. It's an old two story home that looks like it was an old farm house. The red paint is chipping off the sides in huge portions and a lot of the windows are shattered or just gone. The front door is wide open and I slow my pace as we get closer, pulling back on Jaxs grip. He notices and comes to a halt in front of me watching me as I stare at the building. The others walk around us and into the house without thought. "What?" Jax says as he moves to my side. I glance at him briefly before back at the house, dread filling me. "How do you know it's safe in there?..." He follows my gaze to the roof where a large hole is, exposing the inside to nature. "I've been here before. Its fine. Plus its only one night, now come one." He pulls me again by my arm but less forcefully this time and drags me into the house. Like that's supposed to make me feel better... Walking through the doors I see a large living area with peeling white paint and dirty floors. A few things scattered here and there from the old home owners such as books, newspapers, and old furniture. I notice Chad and the brunette sweeping away some debris and placing down sleeping bags with pillows they pulled from a closet. I hear shuffling through a doorway to my left and see Haden making his palette there. "We are taking the top floor. Don't come up there unless it's an emergency." They all nod, obviously tired and not caring. I on the other hand panick. I have to go up those old splintering stairs and be alone with Jax all night. Thoughts race through my mind at the thought of what he was planning on doing to me. I go rigid as he pulls me towards the stairs. I grab the railing and hold on tight, keeping myself in place and ripping my arm our of his grip. "Seriously?!" Jax yells as he turns to glare at me. I stare back at him in fear and quickly glance towards the door. My feet move to run but I'm barely a step away when an arm circles around my waist and throws me over his broad shoulders. I scream and beat on Jaxs back, kicking my legs to get free. He stomps up the stairs ignoring my screams and struggles as I cry feeling like this is my end. I'll never see Victoria, Mrs. Baker, or Danni and the twins again. He scales the stairs quickly, walking through a doorway before throwing me down on an old couch and slamming the door shut. Dust flies around me at the impact and I cough as I quickly get up and sprint to the other side of the room farthest from him. I look at him and his face if filled with rage as he slowly advances on me. I cry and cover my face with my hands, shaking villently; wishing I could be anywhere but here at this moment. "Please no.."I beg. His steps pause briefly before seeming to go in a different direction. I hear a door opening and some shuffling. I manage the courage to uncover my eyes and see him laying out a large sleeping back in the center of the room along with a pillow. I look up and realize the roof is in tact. I quickly wipe my tears, trying to keep any dignity I have left. "Take off the apron, your not sleeping in it.", I look back towards him and freeze as he takes off his jacket. His large muscular biceps are intimidating yet enticing at the same time. He looks amazing... I gasp and look away as I notice him staring at me with a smirk before I hear him approach me and freeze up. Once hes in front of me I feel his hands gently stroke up my arms and to my neck. I feel him pull on the apron strings gently as it unties and falls forward. He then slowly runs his fingers down my back giving me chills as he unties the last stings. The apron landing on the floor quietly. We stand still for a moment soaking each other in. I can feel his breath on the top of my head and his hands rest gently on my lower back. I study his tattoos as I blush uncontrollablely. A beautiful Phoenix adores his left bicep, the tail feathers running down his arm and wrapping around his wrist like rope. The moment is gone as he backs away with one long step before quickly turning and walking toward the sleeping bag, leaving me in a daze. He throws it open and motions for me to get in. My eyes widen as I realize he wants to share the sleeping bag. No way! I shack my head quickly and look over to the couch. It was really old with springs popping out of the sides that I luckily didnt land on when he threw me. I hear him sigh before walking towards me and grabbing my wrist. He drags me to the make shift bed before pushing me down, causing me to land on all fours. I panick and quickly get up,sitting on my knees. He sits down next to me placing his hand on my shoulder, staring at me with a warning glare. I gulp and adjust myself so I'm sitting criss-cross. I hear him sigh loudly, clearly annoyed. "You have to lay down or we won't both fit." I close my eyes tightly and take a deep breath before laying on my back, my whole body tense and uncomfortable. He reaches down to the bottom of the sleeping bag, grabbing the zipper he zipped it up to his chest so it wouldn't cover my face fully zipped. Turning to lay on his side he pauses for a moment and staring at me. I stare back, my face is probably as red as a tomato but he showed no emotion to it. "Whatever..." He mumbles as he puts his hand under my neck before lifting me slightly and sliding his arm under so my head rests against his shoulder and chest. His other arm wrapping around my stomach, pulling me impossibly close to him. His body heat radiating off of him was extremely warm and comfortable. I could feel my heart beating wildly as I played with my fingers and stare at the ceiling. After a few minutes his breathing steadied and silence fills the room. I lay awake, listening to the sound of his heart beat as it slowly puts me to sleep.
