SUMMERS POV

After leaving the mall me and Simon headed to the restaurant to meet Sean for dinner. Me and Simon had a blast shopping and the car is full of our bags in the boot that I'm going to have to put some in the back street to make room for the pram once we leave the restaurant I think to myself.

When we arrived I decided to not wait for Sean and went on in with Simon to get a table. He said he was on his way 10 minutes ago via message saying Lisa still refused to leave the house while Ryan and luke where still not home from there day out. Therefore I opted for a small table.

Me and Simon had ordered ourself drinks while we waited for Sean to arrive.

I can't believe it's already been a whole day, what time are you heading back tomorrow?

I'm going to head off at 8am that way I can get my clothes ect ready for work Monday and still manage a early night he says.

Aww I'm going to miss you it doesn't seem long enough I grumble.

I know but I will be back for Christmas and we can get into mischief like we always do he says

Before long it's going to be Skylar getting into mischief and I'm going to turn into mum I can see it now.

Ha, no your be the one teaching Skylar all the tricks to use against Sean he says.

That's not a bad idea and uncle Simon will help us to i smile.

Hell yeah! Now shall we decide what we want to eat while we wait for Sean?

If you want to I've already decided on the macaroni and cheese with garlic bread as the side.

Well that's us sorted then just Sean once he gets here. At that moment I hear sorry I'm late traffic was a pain from my mums end.

It's alright your hear now I say as Sean takes his seat.

About time to I'm starving Simon says.

Oi, I've a six pack thanks to my gym works outs 3 mornings a week I have you know he grumbles.

Sean laughs and says alright children let's order since Simon here is starving.

Simon waves over the waiter and orders our dishes while Sean decided what he wants.

I will have the lamb chops and herb potatoes instead of veg can I have salad please Sean says.

Certainly sure the young waiter says. Then he hurry off with our order.

Shoot I forgot to order a drink Sean says

It's okay I'm sure he will be back soon if not no doubt come by the table beforehand. How was Lisas make ove rin the end?

Yeah she said to say thankyou she enjoyed having her nails done the most. She ended up with santa finger nail tips looks pretty cool actually he says.

I'm glad she enjoyed it hopefully she will feel up to leaving the house soon.

Hey can I grab a lemonade please Sean asks clocking the waiter a table away.

See Summer was right he would come near again soon Simon says.

Then Skylar decided to wake up. Simon got her out of the buggy handing her over to me.

Can I do this feed Sean suddenly asks.

Yeah of course you can I say passing Skylar over. Then continue to sort the bottle since Simon got the nappy changing bag out for me.

SEAN'S POV

After eating Summer insisted on paying as well as Me and Simon in the end Simon won the arguement and he paid.

Sean how much room do you have in the boot of your car? Summer suddenly asks me.

It's practically empty except a suitcase of clothes I got for my house why?

Could we put Skylar pram in your car then as my boot is full of shopping Summer says giving me a pleading smile with puppy dog eyes.

I couldn't help laughing with Simon at the Summers pleading face and I said if course. We headed for Summers car first to get Skylar settled into the car lucky enough we didn't park pmfar away from each other.

Summer could you just quickly remind me how to collapse this pram?

Yeah where did you park? She asks.

Across the road 4 car downs see I say pointing towards my car.

Oh in that case I will collapse it while I demonstrate for you again she says.

Thanks I'd appreciate it.

Simon I will be back in a second buckle up and put the heating on in the car Summer says.

Okay but I'm driving I saw you yawning during pudding he says.

It's true you yawned like times while eating the apple crumble.

Shh, I'm allowed to yawn I have a newborn baby keeping me awake at night Summer says starting to walk away with the pram.

Simon just laughs while I follow Summer.

How about you get some sleep when we get back at u look after Skylar I suggest as we approach my car.

Are you not tired yourself she asks.

No, I'm not that tired actually and I've really missed not spending as much time with Skylar these past few days so I really don't mind.

Okay but don't let me sleep to long like you usually do I will feel bad if you don't get some decent sleep as well. Now watch carefully Summer says.

Okay I'm watching. With that Summer shows me which buttons to press to get the pram part off the frame and I quickly put it in the boot. Then she shows me which button to press and turn to collapse the frame.

And that's all there is to it she says.

Okay thanks you I say before putting the buggy frame into the boot as well.

Okay well I'm going back to my car now see you back at mine Summer says walking off as I close the boot.

See you soon I say watching Summer until she reaches her car then I get in mine and quickly buckle up while starting the car also. I put the radio on then follow Summers car back to her house.

The rest of even went by quickly. As soon as we got pack I sent Summer go bed for some sleep. Me and Simon watched fast a furious on the telly before he said goodnight, and I just stayed with Skylar in the front room until 4am when I then decided to go up to get some sleep as the sofa was no longer comfortable and I just settle Skylar from a night feed. As I climbed into the bed Summer briefly opened her eyes and slowed them again before cuddling up to me and falling asleep straight away again. Leaving me smiling as I sifted off to sleep myself.

When Skylar woke up at 7:50am Summer told me to stay in bed and sleep while she got up with Summer I didn't argue for once I went back to sleep. I didn't wake up until 11:28am I couldn't believe half the day was gone already but I definitely needed that sleep. I got up and as I opened the bedroom door the amazing smell of roast dinner filled the air, clearly Summer was cooking a roast dinner I thought to myself as I walked downstairs.

Morning Summer says seeing me come down the stairs as we walks out the kitchen.

More like afternoon the morning is gone almost, you should of woke me up sooner.

No, you let me sleep loads and barely sleep its about time you caught up on sleep as well she says.

I'd rather not sleep and see yours and Skylar beautiful faces though I say before quickly kissing Summers cheek then I walked off into the kitchen to make a drink.

SUMMERS POV

The day went by quickly I made me and Sean a beef roast dinner and we just got along like we did before laughing and joking and enjoyed spending time together. I sang along to the music in the kitchen while Sean was watching the football and watching Skylar in the front room. Then after dinner we went for a walk with Skylar in the pram for a hour and talked about random stuff. We ended up going into Seans house on the way back and I see what changes so far had been made to the house. I didn't even realise Sean had workmen go in and decorate it as well as put a new kitchen in which was mainly white tops and silver appliances with light green walls. It looked really nice. He had walk. In showers in the bathrooms with a big bath tub in the master bedroom onsuit bathroom. The hallway was grey. The front room was pastel light brown with black recliner chairs and sofas. A big TV and brown rug and little side tables bear the edges of the sofas and chairs. The house looked pretty good. He said the garden was still in progress of being sorted out and he would show me one day when it's done. We then came back to mine and decided to watch a Christmas movie on Netflix however I fell asleep half way through it on Seans Shoulder. As the next thing I knew Im being carried up the stairs by Sean.

Why are you carrying me? I could of walked if you woke me up.

No, I didn't want to wake you up I already brought Skylar up so just go back to sleep he says.

I decided not to argue and closed my eyes as Sean laid me down on the bed I i wrapped my arms around his body so he couldn't disappear I felt like sleeping cuddled up to him as I always sleep better when he is near. It crazy but it's true. The more time we spend together the more I want us as a family unit. I can't help think to myself as I fall back to sleep.

SEAN'S POV

The weekend went by to quickly for my liking and now I'm sat at work finishing up a meeting yet my mind kept wandering to what Summer and Skylar were up to. If they were having a good morning or not. I left them both sleep at 6am this morning as I had an important meeting to prepare for at 9am. It's now nearly lunch time and I can't wait to eat since I skipped breakfast.

Okay everyone that's will be all I say as the door knocked. Come in.

It was Josh. Sir you have a visitor he says

Summer and Skylar she wants to know of your be free or not soon.

I'm just coming we just finished up here anyway I say walking towards the door.. Okay well I left them. In your office he says before walking off.

I hurry to my office and see Summer sitting on a chair with Skylar in her arms being feed a bottle. Hey how's your morning been? I ask.

We got bored so I decided to join you for lunch there's sandwiches, Scottish eggs and grapes under the buggy with strawberry and banana innocent smoothie drinks she says.

Omg your an angel sent from heaven I'm starving i say while getting the food out.

I wouldn't go that far it's just lunch Summer says while laughing.

No its more than lunch it's time with you both plus food it makes my day.

I'm sure you turned soppier since Skylar was born Summer mumbles under her breath but I heard it.

No, I just say it how it is because its the truth your both my world and anytime with you both I cheerish.

Well I hate to burst your bubble but could you take Skylar and finish feeding her the bottle I'm desperate for the lady's room she says.

Okay I say going to take Skylar and quickly giving her back the bottle so she doesn't start crying from having it taken away.

Thanks summer says before running out of the office.

Oh, mummy must of really needed to go have you kept her on her toes this morning I ask Skylar who just continues drinking her bottle.

You know little princess it's nearly time for Christmas and that means lots of presents I bet all you want though is cuddle and feeding with clean nappys and your be content however daddy wants to do something special maybe we should ask mummy to help daddy think of something. But in the meantime you have a think also even though you can't tell me maybe you can cry to wave your arms around a little to indicate any ideas I say chuckling to my own crazy thoughts. I bet most people would laugh at me talking away as if you can answer me but daddy doesn't care I enjoy having our little talks and I'm sure you do as well since you don't cry. Then Skylar finished her bottle so I start to wind her.

Then Summer comes back in.

Summer me and Skylar were just talking I say as she sits down.

Oh yeah what about? She asks looking amused.

Hey just because Skylar can't talk yet doesn't mean I can have little daughter and daddy conversation I say.

I didn't say anything me and Skylar have conversation all the time also Summer says smiling.

Okay well we want to do something for Christmas to make it some kinda way special being Skylar first but I can't think of anything, so me and Skylar thought he a good idea to ask you who has the brains on these types of things.

Summer just laughs alright I will think of something stop fretting and eat she says.

Okay okay I will just as soon as this little pickle gives up all the wind she is withholding from me so far.

If you want I can wind Skylar while you eat after all we got all day you just have lunch before work again Summer says looking at us as if we look very cute.

No, Skylar comes before work plus I own the company I can take an extended lunch break if I want to, plus you get all day with Skylar I don't so back off women allow me and Skylar a few moments I say with a cheeky grin.

Okay then enjoy your moment because soon we are going to see Ben on front desk he is taking a late lunch today so he can finally meet Skylar properly oh by the way I already told Ben you have okayed it she says with a wide grin on her face.

You want to take over all the other company decisions as well while your at it? I wouldn't mind taking the time off I laugh.

No, just that one decision is fine I'm on maternity leave you know she says laughing back.

And that's how the rest of lunch went by bantering in a playful way it was definitely the highlight of my working day for sure.
