My mind raced as I rushed to collect my things and I knocked several things off of my desk in my haste. It was fine, though. It didn't matter. My dad wouldn't have sounded like that if it wasn't serious, and I wasn't going to abandon my mom no matter how much she hated me. "Mother fucker, six minutes, seriously?"
