"GAH!"
Sarah's relieved cry filled the empty apartment as she bent to her side with her arms stretched into the air. Her back made a worrying crackling sound as multiple areas cracked at once. She held the position for a few moments and remained completely still, so still that I worried that she might have pulled something and been stuck.
"Are you alright?" I asked, my brow furrowed in concern. "It sounds like you broke yourself."
"The only thing broken around here is that dry spell" Sarah groaned as she righted her body and looked back over her shoulder, flashing a devilish grin. "Thanks for helping with that."
I rolled my eyes and dropped my purse on the floor before stepping behind Sarah and wrapping my arms around her slender waist.
