We were making our way to the staircase and I was honestly confused as to where the security was. Kari stopped right in front of me and caused us to all collide into one another. We all looked at her while she seemed to be sniffing the air. This could not be a good sign.
"Kari, What is is?", I whispered.
"Blood.", she replied as she started up the stairs.
We just followed along after her, focusing on nothing but saving Lillian. Once we had reached the second floor, the smell of blood flooded our senses, but I could smell that familiar scent.
