"Honey?! You in there?", came a deep voice from downstairs.
"Up here, my love!", I gritted though a fake smile.
Ugh, can he not even give me five minutes to breathe? This mutt was so gullible to think I am actually his mate and goes along with anything I say without question. It has proven to be rather useful, but annoying. He walked in wrapping his arms around me to pull me in for a kiss when I turned my head and laughed, causing his lips to crash into my cheek.
"How are the scouting missions progressing?"
