I'm not angry at Leonidas, I'm just frustrated. He said he loved me before he knew me, and still, he took women to his bed. There has to be something in this library to explain why.
I drop the books I've collected onto the table with a very unladylike grunt. The guard Leonidas commanded to watch me, steps a little closer to the door, and I glare in his direction. I do not need a babysitter.
These are all books about the mate bond. Flipping the first book open, I thumb through the pages looking for anything that can explain why I am here. If Leonidas had other women to f**k, why did he search for me.
