I wake up to noises coming from the kitchen. I turn over in bed and see Felix is still asleep. Who the hell is in our kitchen?
I climb out of bed and pull sweatpants over my naked body. I leave the bedroom and head to the kitchen. I find Danny looking around, open cupboards and drawers. I furrow my eyebrows, watching how frantic he is.
"Uh, Danny? What are you doing?" I ask gently. Danny whips around and looks at me, almost scared. His eyes are wide and he looks wired.
"Oh, Torrin! I'm sorry, did I wake you? I didn't mean to." Danny says.
"It's fine. Are you okay, Danny? You don't look so good." I say.
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Just looking for something Felix was supposed to give me. Is he still asleep?" Danny asks, pointing to the hall. I nod.
