The next morning, Cal and Dom pack up the truck and I say goodbye to everyone. I'm going to miss them for the next few months while Dom has all the new houses built back home. Danny and Emmet have become such good friends to me since I've got here. But at least they'll be joining me in Crimson Ridge eventually.
I climb into the back seat with Cal and Dom starts driving. I lay into Cal. His scent surrounds me and I relax. This is going to be a long drive, but I don't mind. I'm finally going home with my mate.

After about five hours, we finally stop for a break. Cal and I go in the gas station store to use the bathroom and get snacks while Dom gets gas. Cal loads up on energy drinks because he's the next to drive. We leave
