Emanuel walked in with Princess in his arms. The girl was still silently crying. He didn't blame her. With her headspace, the scene of Greyson being attacked by a snake would be traumatizing.
The king bent down and placed her on the floor helping her stand.
'Talk to daddy, baby.' he said wiping the tears from her cheeks. Princess sobbed and shook her head. She reached her hand out to try and go back into his arms but Emanuel stopped her.
'I know, that must be so scary baby but I need you to stop crying. I don't want you to get sick.' he explained.
'I-I scared. G-Grey....son.' Princess was finding it hard to form words as the sobs muffled her voice. Emanuel sighed and pulled her into his chest again.
