Another week had passed since the night of the drunken king. Lincoln and Marcel have been better than ever. Each day Lincoln would come to the castle bearing gifts for Marcel.
Day one was a simple sunflower. Day two was chocolates. And the rest of the days were the same. The gifts were mostly luxury desserts packed in velvet boxes and expensive arrangements of bouquets. By the end of the week, Marcels room looked like a Valentine's Day store.
He was grateful for the gifts. But mostly he just enjoyed Lincoln's company. The prince had brought him on four different dates and only once did they returned to his mother's lake. Marcel and Lincoln went for a private dinner at his hotel once and shopping the next where Marcel was treated to a shopping spree.
