Summer’s POV
Alexis didn’t really want to leave, she had been waiting to find her mate her entire life. But we had to get back to the kids. She ran to the clinic and shifted. “If we are quick, he may still be there when we get back.” I told Alexis.
I hope he likes me as a human. Because Alexis really loved him.
As soon as I enter the room to check on the kids, they wake up. I encourage them to get ready for the day, quickly.
I plan on dropping by Nathan’s hospital room before I take the kids to the cliff. I tell the kids where I will be and to head down once, they are ready. They are still only young, but they want a small bit of independence. At least in the hospital, I will always be able to find them.
