At the heart of a busy city stood a grand mansion. The mansion was the oldest building in the city but in excellent shape. It had a huge backyard with trees and different flowers. The mansion had a grand door. This extraordinary place belonged to the Benetts. The Benetts were the wealthiest and kindest people in the city, and they were loved by everyone. Mr.Benett was a kind man with a short moustache. He had brown eyes. He was kind and was always keen on punctuality. He worked in a company that dealt with the other countries. He negotiates with other countries about how he can help improve their progress as well as their own. Mrs.Benett was a tall, independent woman. She has hazel nut eyes full of warmth. She worked in a really successful graphic designing company. Her companies work was sent out o her countries as well. Mr. and Mrs. Benett had two kids named Lily and James, who were twins. They were 13 years old. Lily was a disciplined and pretty girl. She loved to read books and had many imaginary friends. She had created her own little word. She didn't have many friends and mostly kept to herself. James wasn't like Lily. He was an extrovert who had a big group of friends. He didn't have his own fantasy, but Lily had caught him talking to someone who wasn't there. He got good grades, and he didn't have much of a rebel like nature like most boys. Lily and James didn't argue despite their personality differences. One night, while they were having dinner, their father told them some exciting news. " Lily, James, I got a little vacation from the office. We're doing really well, and they saw how hard I've been working the past month, so they gave me a week off." " That's good," said James. " Yes... I was hoping that we could spend some time together and go for a vacation for a week," said their father. " That's a good idea. We can go to the Maldives or New York!" said Lily. " Yes... but I was hoping we could go to this hotel in the forest. It was recently built, and it's in the countryside," said their father. " Yes... excellent idea. It will be an adventure for all of us," said their mother. " Yeah.....adventurous relaxation. There will be no Wifi, so I won't get any calls from the office," said their father. " What? No! I need WiFi! I have a gaming session planned with all my friends!" said James. " James, you don't need WiFi!" said their mother. " No, James is right. We can go to NYC instead!" said Lily. " Kids! I need you to respect your father's decision. He needs this vacation, and a little change of scenery won't hurt," said their mother. " Okay, I guess," said Lily. " Then it's settled. We'll leave tomorrow. You kids have summer vacations and darling. You can take a week off from graphic designing, right?"said their father. " Yes, of course." " Excellent! Pack your bags now, and we'll go tomorrow." After finishing, everyone went to their rooms to pack. It didn't take long for Lily to finish packing. Lily was excited, but she wished she was going to NYC instead. Lily knew James was not happy about this vacation idea. He had been planning a gaming day with his friends since last week. It was 10 at night, so Lily decided to sleep because they had to wake up at 7. Soon, she fell asleep, and around 11, everyone was asleep. The next day, Lily got up. She was really excited. It was an hour long drive ro their destination. She got dressed in jeans and a T-shirt. Her long brown hair swayed in the light breeze. The weather was chilly, and there was a bit of sunlight. Lily prayed it wouldn't rain or all their plans would be ruined. She grabbed her luggage and went downstairs. " Good morning, Lily. I was just about to call. Hurry up and come have breakfast," said her mother. " Did you see the weather?" asked Lily, sitting down for breakfast. " Yes... but I am sure it will be fine." Around 8, everyone was near the car, loading everything up. Soon, they were off. It was a fun journey to the countryside. Lily figured it wouldn't be as bad as they expected. After an hour, they arrived at their destination. The hotel was at the beginning of the forest. It had a light peach colour on its walls and a large gate at front. The front yard was full of flowers and greenery. It was a wonderful sight. " This is amazing!" exclaimed Lily. " Well, let's go in. Leave the luggage here. They'll bring it up to your rooms," said their father. They went inside, and it was even more grand than the outside. A chandelier hung in the middle. The couches lay on one side, and there were large windows everywhere. The staircase was made of marble, and there was an elevator right next to it. The front desk looked amazing. A lady at the front desk was giving everyone their keys and was guiding them. " Wait, here, kids. We'll get the key and be right back," said their mother. Their parents went to the front desk. James was standing near a window and looking outside. Lily went over to him. " It's not a bad place, is it?" asked Lily. " Yeah......I guess. I mean, I wish I was back home with my friends, though." " But, family first." " I suppose." Their parents came back looking anxious. " What's wrong?" asked James. " There seems to be a mix-up with our booking. I don't know what happened," said their father. " Oh great! Just what we needed!" exclaimed James angrily. " What do you mean there is a mix-up?" asked Lily. " Well... I mean, we can't stay here. We have to stay at a cabin in the forest. Our booking has got mixed up, and until they can figure it out, we'll have to stay at the cabin," said their father. " Don't worry, though. I'm sure they'll figure it out," said their mother. James looked really annoyed. Lily knew this was not going to end well. " Well, let's go. Our luggage has already reached the cabin," said their mother. They went outside and saw a golf cart waiting for them. They got in the cart, and after thirty minutes, they arrived near their cabi. The woods were really beautiful! The cabin was made of wood, and it looked really good. There was a fire pit in front of it. " Are there any other cabins here?" asked James from the golf cart driver. " Yes, but each cabin has a distance of one mile. If you want to meet the other residents, then you will have to walk all the way to their cabin," said the golf cart driver. " Great," said James. " Do we get the golf cart?" asked their father. " Yes, Sir." Saying that the driver left. Their luggage was on the doorstep of the cabin. " Well, this isn't that bad. It is sort of like camping," said their mother. " Yeah....like glamping," said Lily " Exactly. We can explore the forest soon. It will be fun," said their mother hopefully. They went inside and were surprised at how clean it was. There was a small kitchen and living room downstairs, and there were two bedrooms beach with its own bathroom. One bedroom had a bunk bed ( which Lilya and James happily agreed on taking), and the other had a large bed. Each room had a large window with a. wonderful view. They put their luggage in their rooms and went downstairs. " It's a wonderful little place," said their mother. " Yeah, it is. We'll be fine here," said their mother. They spent an hour settling in. Their father found out that his good friend, John, was at the hotel. He decided to go visit him and their mother decided to go too because she knew his wife. Lily and James didn't want to go, so their parents left. There was no Internet and they were really bored as well. Soon, James went outside. Lily went to her room, and while she was setting things, she heard a noise on the roof. She opened the window and leaned forward. She didn't see anything on the roof. James was sitting near the fire pit. She called out to James. " James! Look at the roof!" James looked at the roof and gasped.
