CHAPTER FIVE Rylie had finished perusing the file as they finally pulled off the exit at Sweeten, shortly after five. Sweeten was another one-horse town with a gas station and a hotel. There was a small supermarket, a few blocks away from the Interstate, and a tiny development of fifties ranch houses behind it. Other than that, the place was surrounded by farmland. The GPS led them to a loop of fifties ranch houses, so close to the Interstate that they could see the ramp they’d just pulled off of as they turned onto the street.
