The next day arrives far too early. The blaring alarm at 4:00 a.m. startles me. I roll over, hitting snooze with a heavy hand, thinking about how everything in my life seems to work by four’s.
Up at 4:00 a.m. most mornings, rain or shine. Classical music is my favorite, which has at least four movements. I also view life in four stages, consisting of infancy, childhood, adulthood, and the elderly. Four times a day, I sit down to eat, one being at 4:00 p.m. I’ve had four close friends throughout my current lifetime, and my favorite rock band is the Fab Four.
My life is music, because music is life. A nostalgic journey, if you will, hurling me into a place in the past, where only the music makes it possible to go.
