Chapter 96

916 Words

Kai’s POV “Alex, are you okay?” I asked as I held him in my arms. He wasn’t breathing properly, his chest rose and fell too fast. He was having a panic attack, shaking as if something had terrified him deeply. “Alex, breathe… calm down, breathe with me,” I whispered, but it wasn’t working. His eyes were wild, and it felt like he was slipping away. A maid suddenly ran up to us, panicking. “Prince Kai, what’s wrong with him? Should I call the pack doctor?” “No need,” I said quickly. “He is having a panic attack, I’ll handle it. Just bring me a glass of water.” I carried Alex into his room and laid him down on the bed. Fear gripped me, I could feel it in my chest. He looked like he could stop breathing any second. I didn’t know what had scared him so much, and I didn’t know how to help.
