The chair is uncomfortable or maybe it’s because I can’t sit still to save my life. I can’t feel my eyes off her, fearing I won’t see her when she first opens her eyes. She made it out of surgery and the blood Eli gave plus some that was rushed in from a neighboring hospital was enough to help replace the blood she lost. She’s been out of surgery for three days and they have been monitoring her recovery closely. She hasn’t moved, but at least I can see her breathe.
