[Faye] I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I know, the sun is beginning to rise and we are parked in front of the most luxurious hotel I have ever seen and Arthur is gently shaking me awake. “Rise and shine, sleepyhead,” he jokes as he pokes me. I rub my face. There are flakes of mascara crusting around my eye from forgetting to wash it last night. I probably just smeared what was left of my makeup all over my face, but I couldn’t care less--I feel so light, so happy, like bubbles dancing within me, giddy and free. He gives me a hand out of the back of the Rolls Royce and I stumble, falling into his solid chest. He catches me easily and I find myself wrapped up in the scent of his cologne, the champagne at our wedding, and the sweat from him dancing with me all evening. M
