There Are Others Like Me

Freya's Pov:

Jasper drove deep into the forest and parked his car in a field with a beautiful scenery and waterfall it was breathtaking that I even wished I lived there,we both got down from the car and he led me to a gazebo which was built in the middle of the field and we both took our seats.

" Who built this here? "

I curiously ask him as I was dying to know who's genius idea it was.

" They usually have parties and all out here that's the purpose of this, there about a lot around actually but I don't know who's meaningless idea this was since I don't attend the parties. "

he answered my question nonchalantly and I frown as i thought this was really cool and meaningful but I chose to keep that to myself. I was eager to know what they were all talking about in class, supernatural beings and all that fantasy stuffs it's hard to imagine me thinking so while I myself I'm a prove of that but knowing and believing are entirely different from each other and that's a fact no one can deny. I turn my face to Jasper who was busily smirking and smiling with his manly face and I felt a little embarrassed with the looks he was giving, I decided to bring his attention back to reality and I cleared my throat at him.

" So can you tell me what all that was, about you and the principal being werewolves, witches sirens and the other names that was mentioned in class? "

I said to him in a serious and curious tone which made him also turn serious,

" Freya I don't mind answering your questions and telling about all that but we're going to start with you first. What are you? I know you don't belong to any territories here so are you from the territories from other towns with supernatural beings? "

" First of all I know nothing about territories or whatever, what I know is i was born with these abilities and no one from where I was from knew what they were or what to call me. "

" Okay then what about your parents are they like you? "

Tears started to fall down my cheeks when he asked me that he reminded me of those whom I wanted to forget about and it made my heart ache, Jasper's eyes widened and he quickly wipe away from tears worriedly.

" Freya what happened? Did I say something you didn't like? "

he asked me in a worried tone and I shake my head to me.

" No .... you didn't. My biological parents abandoned me when I was five in the deep forest, I was rescued by some good people who adopted me as theirs. I guess it still hurts when I'm reminded of that tho I don't miss my biological parents nor do I even remember their faces anymore. "

Jasper sadly stared at me with a hint of anger showing on his face, he suddenly lean in close to me and hug me. I was shocked by his sudden action but I couldn't bring myself to push him away instead I snuggle into his chest more welcoming the warmth his body was giving me, Jasper nuzzle into my hair before he broke the hug and sat back.

" Should we stop for now and continue later when you calm down? About what you are I could have my mom look into it .... Errrr actually I have already told her about you. "

He said to me and my face widened in horror

" I'm okay we should continue, and how come you told your mom about me? You don't even know me "

he started to laugh hard at my remarks as if I said something outrageous or funny

" Freya you're my mate, I should have taken you to meet my parents when I first met you but since you said you didn't know what mate was I couldn't do that. My question earlier are your parents like you? "

" No, only humans lived where I was from so I was called and treated like a freak, I was different from everyone there. "

Jasper stared into space as if he was in deep thought before he looked at me conflicted about what to say next

" I've heard there are cases like that but I've never witnessed that or heard of anyone experience it, but I've heard my mom said something like that in ancient times. My mom can help find what species you are since she's an ancient witch. "

I stare at him as a rather meaningless question popped in my head I knew not to ask but my curiosity just had to get the better of me,

" If your mom is ancient then she's like really old like in movies ancient witches right, then how old are you? "

he stared at me amusingly and started to laugh which made me laugh together with

" Oh Freya, you look adorable when you make that face, I'm 22. My mom being ancient doesn't mean I'm ancient Freya, just my mom. "

" Oh okay I just got curious because all this is literally news to me. "

" Tell me the abilities you possess, your command was rather similar to that of the sirens but yours was way stronger than theirs. "

I started to think about how similar was my abilities to that of sirens which made my test subject think of me as one.

" Ermm I can command people with my words, my screams can be considered explosive since things literally explode when I scream and all, a person can die from just hearing my screams. "

I silently whispered the last part as I felt ashamed of myself, tho I haven't killed anyone before but a lot of animals have lost their lives to me and it made me feel like a murderer. Jasper smile to me and caresse my cheeks

" Having a few heads exploded shouldn't be a problem Freya, don't dwell on such meaningless things. Now tell me, how does your abilities work? "

I stared at him shocked and terrified for some few minutes when I recalled our first meeting when he told me he'd have my head, I started to question myself whether he has actually done that before but I decided to let such question go.

" I can use it when I want to but mostly it responds to my emotions and it goes out of control sometimes. I don't really know how to use it since I've never thought of getting used to it. "

" I will have mom help you with that after she figures out what you are. "

" Jasper since my abilities doesn't work on you does that mean it doesn't work on other supernatural beings? "

I hurriedly ask him the question I've been dying to get an answer to, I wanted to know if I can start talking normally to people and not be scared about the consequences.

" Freya don't lump me up with weaklings, but I'd say the stronger ones can somehow withstand your command but not all tho, but that doesn't mean you can't talk to them. I know that's what you're worrying about but if you learn how to control it, you won't need to worry about going out of control. You can stop acting like a mute from now on if you want to learn to control it then you need to face it and your fears. "

Jasper said to me in a serious tone and I smile, I felt so happy just hearing that there are others like me and I wasn't a freak. The sky started to get dark and I quickly took out my phone from my backpack and watch the time, I quickly stood up as I only had about an hour left before my working hours starts and I needed to get home and change my clothes first.

" I need to go home now my working hours will start soon. "

Jasper frown when I said that which changed his expression from warm happy smiles to cold dangerous glare which made me take a step back as I have never seen such expression on his face before.

" Freya I'm not in support of your part-time since it makes you go home at late hours, it's dangerous at these parts when it gets that late for instance yesterday you were defenselessly searching around when you felt you were being watched what if it wasn't me Freya you could've have been hurt or it could be worse. "

I stare at him speechless as I point my hands at my stalker

" Ahhh so it was you?! For pate sake stop stalking me already Jasper. "

I said to him joking but he still had a serious cold and poker face on as he didn't find what I said funny.

" It was me but not me, after I left Lucien took control and came back so we watched you work the whole time. He shifted and decided to walk you home when you closed from work. "

" Who's Lucien? "

I asked him confused

" My wolf "

He said to me and I gasped in shock

" So you can shift into a wolf? Like an actual real wolf? "

I curiously ask him which made him laugh at my cluelessness.

" Yes, all supernatural shifters can shift into the animals they are. For instance I can shift into an actual wolf a siren can shift from siren to human a weredragon can shift into an actual dragon well and so on. But the species which aren't shifters like the witches and the rest only have their human forms. "

he answered to my curiosity and I made an o shape with my mouth, I quietly stare at him as I felt the urge to see his wolf.

" Err can I see? "

i nervously asked him and he stared at me not knowing what I meant.

" Can you see what? "

" Your wolf. Can I see your wolf? "

Jasper stared at me in surprise as if I've grown two more heads attached before his face lit up and beamed with happiness.

" Of course Freya, Lucien will be happy to show himself to you. "

He started to walk away from me and I stared at him dumbfounded, I asked him to shift not walk away, so his actions left me clueless as what to do and I decided to follow him but he stopped in his tracks and turn to with a confused look

" Freya I thought you wouldn't feel comfortable to see me shift in front of you, I on the other hand wouldn't mind you seeing me n***d. "

My face heated and I blushed all over when he said that to,

" W .. w .. what .. do you mean? I just wanted to see your wolf. "

I stuttered as I said to him and he smirk

" I can't shift without getting undressed since I didn't bring along a spare of clothes today, my clothes will shatter into pieces when I shift without undressing first. "

I made an o sound in understanding of why he needed to shift somewhere else and I stood still as he went behind the bushes, after a couple of minutes I started to hear rattle sounds from the bush before a very huge wolf slowly walk out from the bushes as it stood tall and proud in front of me but for some reasons I wasn't scared. It rather felt familiar like I've always know it, I slowly took a step forward and it stood still watching my actions before it slowly started to walk towards me and I stood smiling and waiting for it to reach me. It got to where and stood and it started to walk around me as if I was a prey and It was a predator before it stood right in front of my face and it leaned it's head to mine and started to nuzzle my face and hair with it's nose, I slowly stretch my hands into it's very black fur and I slowly run my hands through it making giggling sounds and it stretch out it's wet tongue and started to lick my face. After a while I urge it to go change as I needed to go home and I was running late for work, Jasper emerged out of the bushes fully clothed before he led me back to his car and drove me home. He offered to take to to work and he waited for me to take a very quick bath and wear my work clothes before he drove me and park the car in the parking loft of my work place and I got down, Jasper also got down and quickly walk to me

" Freya, can I come and pick you up when you close? I really don't like you walking home that late of the night. "

he worriedly said to me and I smile, I didn't know much of this mate thing but for once I felt loved by someone else other then the Marshalls so I wanted to give us a chance, plus there was no harm in this since I couldn't hurt him even if I wanted to.

" Okay, I close at 7 "

I blush and said to him before I hurriedly run into the coffee shop.

Later that evening Jasper really came to pick me up as he said he would, I sat in his car and and we quietly drove back to my place. I got down and walk to my house when he park and I was about to open the door of my house when he grab hold of my hand which startled me as I didn't even hear him open the car door nor did I hear him close it but the doors of the car were locked and here he was standing beside me as if he rode the air to me.

" Freya I know you're new to all these and you still don't know much about mate but can you give it a chance? I am not asking to mark you or anything like that .... yet, all I'm asking for is a chance with you. "

for the first time I saw him show weakness and it surprised me, ever since I met Jasper he was what I'd call a proud person he always stood dignified and he seemed like a person who doesn't like to show weakness in his life but here he was showing to me his weak side and it made me feel like I was special to him.

" Okay, I'd like to give us a chance. "

I blush and said to him which made him smile widely and he suddenly perk my lips, his face widened when he realized what he did

" Freya I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that, I was just overwhelmed I hope you're not angry. "

I quickly shake my head as I was too embarrassed to talk and and my whole face reddened up like tomato, it was my first kiss tho it wasn't exactly a kiss but it was my first time and it made me feel butterflies in my stomach.

" I .... it's okay... err .... it's getting really late you need to get back home. Thanks for everything you did for me today and have a safe trip back home. "

I quickly said to him as I hurriedly open my door and run in and shut the door, my heart was pounding in my chest threatening to burst out. I heard him drive his car away before I walk into the bathroom and quickly did my business before I walk out, I laid down on my bed as my thoughts drift onto Jasper's sudden perk which made me touch my lips subconsciously and I smile before I skank into a deep dreamy slumber.
