Chapter 9: really?

“ really can’t we discuss this some other time I really just don’t have time to be talking about this” I said I just don’t want to be having to see him and I know he’s the father of my children but he’s also my mate that I rejected I just can’t stand to see him.

“ no I want to talk about it now I have a right to see my children” he said

“ I never said you didn’t” I said

“ well wether you like it or not I will see them every chance I get which means I will be visiting a lot” he said in his alpha tone

“ no you will see them when I have the time and decide you could come” I said using my queen tone which overpowered his.

“ ok. But I’m coming tomorrow” he said

“ I can arrange for that to happen but I’ll be with them the whole time” I said

“ ok” he said with a smirk on his face.

Once Ryan left I felt some type of relief. I wasn’t too excited to be spending the day with him. But I had to do this for the twins they deserve to know and be with their father even if we’re not together. I head back downstairs to see the twins already asleep. So I take them to their room and then head to mine. I then take a shower and just put on a black tank top and some black sleeping shorts. I then was about to lay on my bed when I get a call.

It was Ryan I don’t know why he was calling but I picked up the phone.

“ what do you want?” I said annoyed

“ umm so our car broke down and we don’t have anywhere to sleep so I was wondering if my beta and I could stay over” he said hesitantly.

“ don't you have another pack or some s**t to call” I said

“ uhh I do but they didn’t answer” he said

I took about a while to respond back I mean after everything I still need to get a long with him since he is the father of my children and plus he was going to hang out with him tomorrow too. But is it the right decision? I guess I’ll find out.

“ fine I’ll send my beta to go get you guys just send me your location” I said

“ oh no need for that I’m already outside your castle” he said

“ what are you serious I’ll be down there in a minute” I said

I quickly put on my Nike slides and head downstairs forgetting what I was wearing.

When I open the door the first thing I see is Ryan’s eyes fill with desire. It was kinda my fault since I decided to receive him with my sleeping clothes.

“ hey” he said nervously

It was awkward until his beta Jason spoke up.

“ thank you for taking us in such short notice my queen” he said bowing down.

“ no need for all of that just call me Esperanza” I said

“ well what are you waiting for let’s head in it’s kind of cold” I said leading them to the guest bedrooms.

“ so there’s two rooms there umm feel free to pick either one I don’t care and we’ll have a goodnight” I said leaving back to my room.

I lay on my bed thinking. I always had a bad habit of overthinking especially about someone or something. And of course I had to be thinking of him. He was so kind to he twins today they clearly love him. I just want to see how tomorrow turns out.
